Welcome to River Rock Ridge! This brand-new stunning home built in 2019 with all new furnishings provides some of the best views in the area as it sits above the San Juan River overlooking the San Juan mountains. This home is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area, in a quiet and relaxing setting in the mountains. The main floor with shiplap walls has an open living dining, and kitchen area, which is a cook’s dream with high-end Dacor appliances and granite countertops. With a wall of windows overlooking the mountains, the living area is great for curling up by the fire and enjoying the view. There is dining for 8, as well as bar seating for 4. Also located on the main floor is the master suite, complete with king bed, mountain views and its own private bath with heated floors, soaking tub and shower. Another bedroom with a queen bed is on this floor, as well as a full bath. There is a mud room with a side entrance as well as a Maytag washer and dryer. Downstairs has two bedrooms with mountain views, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, as well as a shared bath. The home as a tankless hot water heater with plenty of hot water for the entire family. There are two back decks overlooking the river with the top deck providing a built-in Sedona grill with granite countertops as well as out-door heating for those chilly nights. Visiting in the winter? Wolf Creek is just 20 minutes away and we are on the east side of Pagosa Springs so no need to fight the traffic driving through town. After a long day on the mountains, Pagosa Springs has the world’s deepest hot springs. Not into skiing or snowboarding? You can also spend your time snowmobiling, tubing, snow shoeing , ice fishing and ice skating or just sit on the back deck watching the snow fall.
Here for the summer? Downtown Pagosa is 8 minutes away and provides numerous activities. The first part of the summer you can raft through downtown and as summer warms up and the river slows down you can spend the lazy summer days floating the river. Fly fishing is popular on the San Juan and area lakes and there are plenty of hiking trails in the national forest. Downtown provides plenty of shopping along with great restaurants and several breweries.
Visiting in the fall? Colorado provides some of the most spectacular scenery in the fall as the foliage changes colors. Fall provides some amazing hiking opportunities as well as some of the best hunting around.
